J&M instruments have developed the ManoMate® wireless measuring system to measure and/or analyse process variables such as pressure and temperature in situations where traditional transmitters are too big, too costly and/or time consuming to install. For the prototype of the system, J&M needed feedback of professional users.
P5 facilitated the design of the DigiMate®, the handheld terminal that is part of the system, by an expert review on usability aspects and a mini-usability test with potential users working in chemical industry.
Based on these findings the Manomate® was made in larger series and is now for sale.
