Product: Amsterdam parking meters
Client: Dienst Stadstoezicht, City of Amsterdam
The city of Amsterdam is the first town in the Netherlands that applies on-street digital parking (no longer parking tickets but checking the license plate on a central database). New parking meters were necessary for this form of (pre)paid parking, with a user interface that allows logging in the licence plate number.

During the development of a self-service kiosk allowing KLM passengers (at Schiphol Airport Amsterdam) to check-in their own baggage, objective feedback by professional usability tests was needed.

The Municipality of Amsterdam wanted to improve the situation when road reconstruction works take place.
Therefore the department Bureau Stadsregie carried out a research on temporary measurements and needed feedback on the usability and applicability.
