During the development of a self-service kiosk allowing KLM passengers (at Schiphol Airport Amsterdam) to check-in their own baggage, objective feedback by professional usability tests was needed.

The Municipality of Amsterdam wanted to improve the situation when road reconstruction works take place.
Therefore the department Bureau Stadsregie carried out a research on temporary measurements and needed feedback on the usability and applicability.

The Municipalities of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam region want to improve the accessibility of public transport. Therefore they commissioned AGV consultants in mobility to formulate a policy and action plan on Accessibility of Public Transport for the Municipality of Amsterdam and region municipalities.
Product: Comfort of shelters IJtram line
Client: npk industrial design
The municipality of Amsterdam wanted to raise the comfort for the public transport passenger, when waiting for a tram or bus. Therefore the department for Infrastructure, Traffic and Transport (dIVV) carried out a research on the possibility to heat the shelters of the Amsterdam IJtram line and needed feedback from users on the concepts.

Vilans, knowledge organisation for care, produces publications on safety, quality and usability of mobility products and transport for persons with reduced mobility. For specific projects consultancies are commissioned to carry out desk research and facilitate working group sessions.
Product: Guidinglines for visually impaired
Client: npk industrial design
A new technique for applying guiding lines for visually impaired, based on epoxy and developed by TG Lining, enables new ways to apply guiding lines. NPK (Leiden), in cooperation with TG lining (Heiloo), designed and developed new solutions. But does it work in practice?
Product: Road signing
Client: npk industrial design, ANWB
In the Netherlands ANWB is the authority on road signing. The designers of npk industrial design were asked to redesign the existing road signing to improve consistency, comprehensibility and legibility. Therefore feedback of users was necessary.
